Welcome

We have been asked time and again, what we feed our dogs. We use a combination of dry food and human grade food. For the food, we use Victor Hero K9. It is a grain free dry food. We free feed our dogs dry food. For the human grade food, we make meatballs. The recipe is below.

Our Meatballs

Ingredients:

2.5 lbs Ground Beef

the leaner the better

3lbs Ground Chicken

3 cups Rice

This means this recipe is not grain free. We use a grain free dry food, but for the meatballs, this works for us.

1 can Peas

Drained and rinsed

1 can green beans

Drained and rinsed

2 teaspoons Local Bee Pollen

Helps year round with the tear tracks

1 CAN PUMPKIN OR SWEET POTATO

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350*

for a 11-15 lb dog recieving 2 meals a day you want 1/4 cup size meatballs

I use a silicone mini muffin tin to form them and then transfer them all over to a cookie sheet. I do not bake them in the tins as they get too greasy that way.

Bake for 35 minutes

Let them cool completely before transferring them to a container.

bag these up and freeze them

Pro Tip: Put 5 days worth for your dog in each bag. That way you are using all of your meatballs before they go bad.
